Talking about the song, Wally Hoak said: “This song is how I feel most of the time; the message is that sometimes we make decisions knowing the consequences, and we still go through with it – no matter how much it will ultimately hurt us and lead to hate, rage, and heartache.
Usually, I’m outspoken, except on the subject of my feelings; just like the song says, I want to be left alone with my feelings.”
