Don’t Judge By The Colour

Song Bio:

This song is very personal.

After watching racism spiral out of control last year I started to write this song.

This song goes to the people that choose to devalue and degrade a person because they have coloured skin.

It goes to those who follow me around a store because they assume I’m a thief.

It goes to those who think I’m a “thug” because I’m black.

It goes to those who think I shouldn’t be a Pop Punk artist because I’m not white.

I hope this song resonates with a lot of people and I hope that it can inspire change, Just to at least make people think a little differently.

Black lives STILL matter.

Black will always matter.

Don’t Judge by the Colour baby!

If this song resonates with you at all, I encourage you to share it!
Who Is King Fabbs?

Fabian Joseph Yansen

A Fantastic Pop-Punk Artist from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Bio

I’m King Fabbs from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!

I have lived here my whole life.

I am a Pop Punk artist, I made my official debut back in July 2021.

I started my musical journey when I was in grade 7, I got my first guitar that year for Christmas and from there I learned a few other instruments such as drums, bass guitar, saxophone, and vocals.

I was in a punk band when I was in high school and it only lasted about a year.

I didn’t want to give up on it though because I love making music so I’ve been looking to get back into a band for a lot of years.

But last year I decided that going down the solo path was best for me and it turns out it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.

I’m making the music I’ve always wanted to make and I can express myself however I want too.

I’m looking to make a big impact in the Pop punk scene or anywhere in the music scene!

I want to inspire people and make music people can really connect with.

I also want to inspire and represent people of colour!

Lyrics come sing along with Fabbs

Don’t Judge by the Color

Take my life take my soul
Your heart of hate is all you know
Grab your baggage and let go
Your insecurities taking out
The ignorance has got you know
So put on your mask of hate if it makes you feel alive
The Colors covering the world as they grow
Fighting the judgement from imperious people
But you and me baby, we’re just like the others
So don’t judge by the color
It’s taken so long for you to see
Step off of me, I cant breathe
Forfeit the game from all your corrupt points of authority
No time for living like were divided
Get outside your negative mindset
Gotta find the love oh Love is violent
Yeah in this life I’m loving you If you’re black or white
The Colors covering the world as they grow
Fighting the judgement from imperious people
But you and me baby, we’re just like the others
So don’t judge by the color
Can you look up from
(Can you look up from)
What the devils done
(What the devils done)
Can you look inside
(Can you look inside)
And see the damage done
(And see the damage done)
Can you look up from
(Can you look up from)
What the devils done
(What the devils done)
Can you look inside and see the damage done
The Colors covering the world as they grow
Fighting the judgement from imperious people
But you and me baby, we’re just like the others
So don’t judge by
So don’t judge by the color
No don’t judge by the color
